Stew-ing up Momentum heading into BAMSFest 2025

Momentum 2025 Boston kicks off June 25, 2025. It is a six-day arts and culture music creative festival that is part of BAMSFest (bamsfest.org) June 28th. BAMSFest, the festival’s crowning jewel event, celebrates it’s the seventh year of highlighting local and national arts, dance and cultural creatives inside Massachusetts held at Dorchester’s historic Franklin Park Playstead. Three area artist curators Mark (Motivate), Devon (D-Loops) and Bryan (Trench) make up the The Stew Beat Showcase. Their event happens at High Street Place Boston, MA June 29th featuring live singer songwriters and producers on stage.
The three curators sat down inside Studio 8-8-9 to chop it up with The Secret Spot host DJ Mo Wilks to share what inspired them to work together to bring music creatives under one roof in Boston. They share their own personal music historic journeys, favorite artists and genres, cultural inter-connections and glimpses into the showcase’s future going forward.
